About ColombiaSky
Tailor-made Colombia, designed by people who know the ground.
Who we are
A destination management company built on local knowledge
ColombiaSky is a destination management company built around one idea: the best trips come from people who actually know the ground they’re sending you to. We’re based in Colombia, we work in Colombia, and we design trips for travelers, travel advisors and companies who want more than a templated package.
We’re backed by Organización Aviatur, one of Colombia’s longest-standing travel operators, with around 60 years of experience organizing tourist services, events, incentive trips and conventions. That means direct operation, our own offices in the country’s main tourist destinations, local contacts, real availability and people on the ground who can respond when plans change mid-trip.

Colombia around the world
We take Colombia on the road, and we love every minute
Colombia is at its best when it is shared. For more than 20 years our team has packed up the flavors, crafts and music of home and carried them to five World Expos, from Seville to Shanghai, Milan, Dubai and Osaka. We have poured passion-fruit juice for curious Italians, shown Wayuu bags and hand-carved crafts to visitors from around the world, and spent whole summers saying the word “Colombia” with a smile. Every time, we came back home proud, a little more in love with Colombia, and ready to understand real cultures and their needs, so they can come and visit Colombia.

Expo Sevilla 1992 · Seville, Spain
Colombia’s chiva rolls around the Expo
In Seville we represented Colombia in true Colombian style: with the chiva. We took Colombia’s colorful chiva, piled high with crafts from home, all around the Expo grounds, a rolling piece of Colombia that brought a little of our country’s joy to every corner of the fair.

Expo Shanghai 2010 · Better City, Better Life
Colombia’s pavilion store, run with a smile
We ran the pavilion store at Colombia’s pavilion in Shanghai: the place where a visit to the pavilion turned into something you could carry home, always stocked with handcrafts from Colombia and pieces by top Colombian designers. We loved watching people from every corner of the world pick up a piece of Colombia and ask us about it.
Expo Milan 2015 · Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life
A store, a restaurant and a juice bar, full of Colombian flavor
Our bar was a fresh, informal corner with touches of Colombian crafts, built to share the joy Colombians bring to every moment. We served cocktails and juices with eight flavors of home: passion fruit, lulo, blackberry, mango, soursop, guava, curuba and tree tomato. Italians fell for passion fruit and mango, while the French and Swiss were bolder and always asked for something new to try.
The surprise hit was aguapanela with lemon, which became the summer drink of the pavilion and, once autumn arrived, a warming canelazo. In our restaurant we served patacones and empanadas, and we ran the pavilion store too, with Colombian handcrafts and top designers, all with a lively, international team.

Expo Dubai 2020 · Connecting Minds, Creating the Future
Palenke: a place to meet, celebrate and shop for Colombian hands
Palenke means a place of gathering, of fiesta and celebration, and that is exactly the spirit we put into our shop in the Colombia pavilion, where we offered handcrafts, emeralds and high-end jewelry. We had two commercial spaces for visitors to enjoy: Palenke, and Cooyuba. We named Cooyuba after the Muisca word for “fruit tree” and filled it with leaves and branches. It was our bar for natural juices and ice cream made from pure Colombian fruit, from lulo, soursop and passion fruit to feijoa, uchuva and curuba, with fruit tartlets, pandebonos and arepas on the side. Many Colombians told us they tasted flavors they had not enjoyed in decades. We filled Palenke with the work of artisans from all six regions of Colombia, in wood, tamo, mopa-mopa, ceramics, fique, wool, werregue palm, cane and bamboo, next to the work of contemporary designers. Visitors told us they loved finding real crafts instead of souvenirs.
Our multicultural team of 25 shared the stories behind each piece, from Wayuu bags to hand-painted chivas and the carnival masks of Barranquilla. The pavilion itself was recognized for its visitor experience, and the pieces from Palenke even traveled to Dubai Fashion Week and the Design District.
Expo Osaka 2025 · Colombia, the Country of Beauty
All the commercial areas, all the Colombian flavor
For Osaka, we looked after all of the commercial areas of Colombia’s pavilion, every space where visitors could taste, shop for Colombian handcrafts and top designers, and fall a little in love with Colombia. Our counters poured Colombian coffee and served lechona, empanadas and pandebono, our warm, golden cheese bread. The big surprise was the lechona: it became one of the top favorites of our Japanese visitors. The Expo was expected to welcome more than 28 million visitors over six months, and we were there to welcome them, promoting Colombian products, culture and creativity in Japan.

Colombia is a country of many cultures, and so are the teams who carry it. We are proud to be part of that diversity, and happy every time we get to share it with someone who has never tasted a lulo or held a Wayuu bag. That joy is what we bring to every trip we plan.
