  • Walk the Streets of Villa de Leyva

Villa de Leyva is the most touristy town in Boyacá.  Walking its ancient cobbled streets is like stopping in time. Its imposing main square of more than 14,200 m2, its healthy climate, along with a very good gastronomic and accommodation offer, make Villa de Leyva a perfect destination to combine between culture and the pleasure of traveling.

The construction was made entirely of red clay, a very common and characteristic material of the entire Boyacá region.

Not only the construction, but also a large part of the equipment, is made of clay, taking advantage of the skills of Boyacan artisans.

  • The Thermal Baths in Paipa. Just 3 hour drive from Bogotá, we find Paipa,  located at 2550 meters above sea level. In recent years, Paipa has stood out for its hotel infrastructure, and of course for the charm of its thermal waters. You can find a luxury destination for thermal spas and activities and the best thing is the nice warm weather all year long. Additionally, it has gained importance for events and conventions.The Monument to the 14 Lancers is an unavoidable visit, for visitors to Paipa.
  • Visit the Tota Lagoon. If you didn’t know that a few hours from Bogotá, you could enjoy a White Beach to have amazing views, it’s because you don’t know Lake Tota and its surroundings.

  • Visit Historical Monuments such as the Boyacá Bridge

Declared by the Government of Colombia, as Cultural Heritage of the Nation, the Boyacá bridge, is one of the historical references of Colombia.

Boyacá Bridge. located very close to Tunja, Capital of Boyacá, you will find, in addition to the historical bridge, the Bolívar Monument, the triumphal arch, and the victory obelisk.
